Established in 1955 as Nandikeshwari Iron Foundry Pvt. Ltd., NIF Ispat is one of India’s oldest and most trusted manufacturers of Grey and Ductile Iron Castings. With over 70 years of excellence, NIF has become a name synonymous with precision engineering, global quality, and consistent delivery.
Today, we proudly operate as a Government-recognized Three Star Export House, exporting to 25+ countries and maintaining four state-of-the-art foundries in Howrah, West Bengal, India. Our team of expert engineers, metallurgists, and skilled workers power an annual production capacity of 36,000 TPA, backed by SAP-integrated processes and ISO-certified quality standards.

From being a trading house, our founder Shri N.P. Madhogaria & Bros – Started the first foundry on 22nd November, 1955 for producing grey cast iron products for Local market in Howrah, India as Nandikeshwari Iron Foundry Pvt. Ltd. located at 10 “K” Road, Belgachia Howrah, with annual production capacity of 1200 TPA. It is still the Registered Office of NIF and referred as UNIT-1.
NIF has established a greenfield foundry equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The facility specializes in producing ductile iron and grey iron castings using automatic machine moulding and induction furnaces. Now referred to as Unit 4, spanning over 50,000 sq. meter.

NIF ISPAT Pvt. Ltd. traces its roots back to a pioneering greenfield foundry and has evolved into one of the oldest and most respected manufacturers of Grey Iron and Ductile Iron Castings in India. Over the years, the company has consistently grown in scale and reputation, establishing itself as a leader in the industry.
Today, NIF ISPAT Pvt. Ltd. is a Government-recognized Three Star Export House, reflecting its strong global presence and commitment to international standards. With four strategically located foundries in Eastern India, the company is supported by a team of highly qualified engineers and a dedicated workforce of skilled professionals.
With a combined annual production capacity of 36,000 TPA, NIF ISPAT delivers a wide range of precision-engineered castings to both domestic and international markets. Its modern facilities are equipped with automatic moulding machines, induction furnaces, and robust quality control systems, ensuring reliable performance and consistency in every product.
In 2026, NIF ISAT Pvt. Ltd. will commission a completely new processing unit, equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure for fettling, machining, painting, packaging, and warehousing. This expansion will strengthen the company’s ability to deliver fully finished, value-added castings with world-class quality and reliable logistics support, offering customers a seamless end-to-end solution.
